Carnegie Cameron Taught Postgraduate Bursaries

Up to twelve awards are offered to University of Edinburgh students undertaking either a one year, full-time or two year, part-time taught postgraduate degree in any subject offered by the University of Edinburgh commencing in the 2016-2017 academic session.

The value of each award will be up to £4,000 which will be deducted from the tuition fees of successful applicants.

The bursaries will be awarded to applicants who are accepted for admission on either a one year full-time or two year part-time basis for a taught postgraduate programme of study at the University of Edinburgh.

Postgraduate diploma or certificate courses are not eligible.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they are Scottish either by birth or descent (at least one parent born in Scotland) or that they have been continuously resident in Scotland for a period of at least three years for the purpose of secondary or tertiary education in Scotland.

The bursary will be awarded on the basis of academic merit with due consideration also being given to financial circumstances.

Candidates will normally require a first-class honours degree.

This award is now closed. We are no longer accepting applications for the 2016-2017 academic session.

A Selection Committee will meet in late May 2016 to select the award holders. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in June 2016.
