The Brett Richdale Scholarship in Chinese Studies
One scholarship is available for UK applicants studying Masters in Chinese Studies within the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences for the 2017-2018 academic session.
Award
The scholarship will cover Home/EU tuition fees and a stipend of £4,800 tenable for two academic years. The scholarship will also cover £1,800 towards travel costs and living expenses for a 6 month period in Shanghai.
Eligibility
The scholarships will be awarded to UK nationals and resident within the UK who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for the Master in Chinese Studies programme.
Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so.
Criteria
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain a 2:1 Honours degree at undergraduate level or the international equivalent.
Applying
Applications for this scholarship are no longer being accepted for 2017-18 as the deadline of 26th May 2017 has now passed.
Selection Procedure
Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in June 2017.
