CMVM Online Distance Learning Scholarship

The College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine will offer five scholarships to students commencing selected online distance learning programmes in 2016-2017.


Each scholarship will pay the full tuition fee for the first year of study.


Applicants must be citizens of and resident in one of the following developing Commonwealth countries:

Applicants must also have applied for admission on one of the following online distance learning Masters programmes commencing in 2016-2017:

Applicants must apply for the Masters level of the programme. Applicants who have already commenced their programme of study will not be considered. Applicants who already hold a postgraduate qualification will not be considered.


The scholarship will be awarded broadly on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, a UK first class or 2:1 Honours degree at undergraduate level or the international equivalent.


This award is now closed. We are no longer accepting applications for the 2016-2017 academic session.


A Selection Committee will meet in July 2016 to select the scholarship holders. All applicants will be notified of the outcome in August 2016.
