The British Chamber of Commerce in Germany (BCCG) Foundation Scholarships provides supplementary financial support for study or research in Germany.
The BCCG Foundation is a charity registered in Germany. Since its formation in Germany in 1983 the Foundation has been providing financial support and partial scholarships to young British and German nationals for study or research in the Federal Republic of Germany or the United Kingdom respectively.
In this way it seeks to promote understanding between the peoples and the furtherance of cultural relations between the two countries. The Foundation is financed through donations by individuals, firms and institutions in Great Britain and Germany.
Successful candidates will receive a BCCG Foundation Scholarship Award in the form of a one-off payment.
The award is intended to provide supplementary financial support, not to defray the full cost of the proposed course of study or research.
Payment is subject both to acceptance by the institution at which they study is to be undertaken and evidence that the course or research activity has been started.
Citizens of the UK are eligible to apply for awards for study or research in Germany, and German citizens for awards for study or research in the UK.
Applicants should be undertaking full time courses of study at universities leading to degrees, diplomas or equivalent qualifications. Research students are also eligible.
Students who frequent courses leading to A-level or Abitur qualifications may apply as well.
Applications must be received by the BCCG Foundation between 1 May and 30 June.
Completed applications must be legible, and included a scanned photograph.
Application forms and further information on the scholarship is available from our website.
Applications can be submitted by email. Further information can also be obtained by writing to this address. Information cannot be obtained by telephone.
You may also mail your application to the BCCG Foundation.
