Disability and Learning Support Service

Repeat Funding

Do you need to reapply for repeat funding for your disability support?

If you are funded by Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) through SAAS (Student Awards Agency for Scotland) and received support last year for printing and photocopying costs, or assistance such as notetakers, library helpers, proofreaders, study skills tutors or mental health mentors, you need to submit a repeat application to ensure that your support continues.

Similarly, if you are a non-UK student receiving ongoing support, such as those detailed above, you will also need to re-apply for your funding.

Please contact the Service to arrange a meeting with an Officer or Advisor to go through the repeat funding application.  A failure to submit a repeat application will delay assistance being set up.

If you have any queries about the support you have been receiving or are unclear about whether or not you need to reapply, please contact the Service as soon as possible.
