At Edinburgh you have access to one of the largest and most important academic libraries in the world.

Our libraries currently house around three million printed volumes and a growing number of electronic resources.
These include more than 600,000 electronic books and over 20,000 electronic journals. These resources can be used remotely at any time.
See the Library website for more information.
The Library operates on a number of sites around the city. Opening times and staffed hours vary.
Our Main Library in George Square offers late opening throughout the semester and extended opening hours during exam times.
Library staff will assist you to find what you need. Library guides and advice are also available online.
In all of our libraries, which cover different subject areas, you will find study space and computing facilities.
Using your personal laptop, or one borrowed from the library, you can also access our wireless network on-site.
Our online catalogue may be accessed from any computer.
There will be EUSA-led general tours of the Main Library in George Sqaure daily during Freshers' Week.
