Digital Skills Development

The Digital Skills and Training team help to develop the digital and information literacy, desktop and IT productivity skills of University staff and students to help them work, research and study more effectively and to support continuing professional development.

Assistive technology

Help and advice on assistive technology is available from Information Services.

Open-access computers and multimedia resources

Open-access computers are available in computing labs, libraries and cafes. In labs, supervisors are on hand to help with any problems.

There are multimedia and specialist IT resource centres in the Main Library and in the KB Centre, King’s Buildings.

Information Services (IS) provide a wide range of support for staff, from accessibility advice to wifi support.

Your University Login provides access to a number of protected University applications and resources.

Software offers

Staff can take advantage of savings offered through the University’s software licensing and purchasing service.

Websites

University Website Programme

The Website Programme supports the main University publishing framework, and provides support for all web publishers, regardless of the technology used.

Web development and support

Help with building websites and technical support may be available via your relevant computing support department.

Information Services also provide a web design service.

Corporate website

The Digital Marketing team manages and develops the University's corporate website, including the online prospectuses, and third-party digital channels aimed at external audiences.
