Our vision
The University Website Programme coordinates the management and development of the University’s corporate web publishing framework.
CMS and website review
We are currently in the process of reviewing the current corporate University CMS service, which involves a series of stakeholder consultations.
Site building and development
As part of the management of the Polopoly content management system, we provide services and support for you to design and build a new site.
Training provision
We train users in the University CMS as well as providing support and training and facilitate a strong web publishing community
Site monitoring and appraisal
We help web publishers, whether or not they use Polopoly, to monitor and appraise their websites on a regular basis, by providing access to, and training in, appraisal tools and services.
Strategic goals support
We’ve worked with colleagues across the University to successfully launch several strategic themes, including Edinburgh Global, ELIR, Edinburgh Sustainability and the IAD.
What's live in Polopoly
All of the College Offices, most of the schools, and all support groups now have a corporate presence in Polopoly, our content management system.
