Zoological collections
Any zoological collection has to maintain minimum standards in order to obtain their zoo license. As part of this we regularly provide inspections of the animal collections and advise on ongoing improvements.
Zoo animals heath are assessed in the same way we examine pet exotic animals. Occasionally anaesthesia is required to assess them in detail.
Animals that require veterinary treatment can be treated on site but for more complicated procedures are brought to our hospital.
Our team also provide advice and other services to other veterinarians who deal with zoological collections.
