Our service is committed to owner education and we regularly offer client education evenings and free health checks.
We also regularly provide lectures to owner societies and clubs.
Between the 21st and 25th May 2012 we are offering a Chicken Week at the Hospital for Small Animals.
Between the 7th and 11th of May 2012 we are offering a parrot week at the Hospital for Small Animals.
We produce two newsletters a year for our clients which contains all current information on our service.
The Exotic Animal and Wildlife Service held a Lizard Night to be held on the 18th April 2012 at the Hospital for Small Animals
We held a meeting on the 2nd November 2011 for falconers, wildlife rehabilitators and people involved in release projects.
We held a tortoise pre hibernation check week from the 26th to the 30th September 2011.
We held another popular free health check week for parrots and parakeets. This ran between the 16th and 20th of May 2011.
We held our first ever lizard week between the 18th and 22nd of April 2011. We offered free health checks and held an evening meeting for owners .
We held our ever popular free pre hibernation checks for tortoises between the 27th of September and the 8th of October 2010.
We held a health check week for Guinea Pigs, Chinchillas and Rodents which ran from the 20th to the 24th of September 2010.
We held an evening meeting on the 20th January 2010 for falconers, wildlife rehabilitators and people involved in release projects.
We offered free health check and advice for tortoise owners between 28th September and 9th October 2009.
