Computed tomography (CT)
A foal anaesthetised for CT examination.
A computed tomography service is coming soon (proposed to be up and running in Spring/Summer 2009).
We are installing a high quality spiral CT scanner which will enable us to perform CT of the head and proximal neck in standing sedated horses.
There will also be a facility to anaesthetise horses for CT of the feet and limbs.
