All members of the large animal anaesthesia team are fully trained and committed to the welfare of horses undergoing surgery.
What we do
There is no standard anaesthetic technique for horses at the LA hospital; anaesthetics are devised according to the needs of the surgical team and the animals themselves.
Research
The number and complexity of equine cases presenting at the large animal hospital provide an excellent challenge for the anaesthesia service, and is a fruitful area for research.
