Royal Infirmary to Western General Shuttle Bus
A shuttle bus runs from the Royal Infirmary to the Western General Hospital, via Marchmont, Central Area, City Centre and Orchard Brae.
E & M Horsburgh operates the Shuttle Bus Service. At Little France (Royal Infirmary) the shuttle bus stops and leaves from the bus terminus which is beside the Meteor pay station opposite the "Day Surgery Unit".
Buses depart every 45 minutes from Little France stopping at Kilgraston Road, Sick Kids, Lauriston Place, North Bridge (Waverley Gate) and WGH. Other 'request stops' are highlighted on the timetable.
The service is for inter site travel not travel to and from your place of work and is free to staff and students on production of their staff/student card. Students are only permitted to use this service between 09.00 and 16.00
The service runs Monday to Friday, including public holidays, except for Christmas Day and Boxing Day. The service takes approximately 40 minutes end to end.
