Parking permits are valid for the calendar year. Applications are invited each autumn to apply for permits valid from 1st January. Annual permits The Transport and Parking Office issues permits which expire on 31st December each year. During October / November each year, staff and students are invited to apply for permits valid from 1st January. Annual permit applications Permit allocations are reviewed annually to take account of changes to personal circumstances, overall demand for parking, and to the supply of parking spaces. This enables the points threshold to be adjusted to reflect these changes.
