
Mr Raza’s educational qualifications are:
Mr Raza was appointed as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in 2002.
Mr Raza has a heavy commitment in training and education. He lectures to medical students and helps in the training of future surgeons.
His practice is purely vascular and he manages all elective and emergency vascular referrals within the Edinburgh catchment area.
He also formally lectures to Queen Margaret University MSc Diabetes on Vascular Disease.
Prior to his appointment as a Vascular Consultant, he spent a six month period at Hull Royal Infirmary Vascular Unit.
His Basic Surgical Training and MD research was carried out in Dundee until coming to Edinburgh in 1997 for Higher Surgical Training.
Mr Raza was born in Yorkshire and brought up in West Lothian. He read Medicine at the University of Dundee, qualifying in 1990.
