Our overriding strategy is to provide excellence in surgical education, research and clinical training.

The history of the School of Surgery, the Chair of Clinical Surgery, and surgical teaching and research in Edinburgh.
Location
Our main clinical and research facilities are at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and the Western General Hospital.
Visit us
Occasionally we are able to accept suitably qualified visitors and clinical observers to the unit.
