Scottish Wider Access Programme (SWAP East)
SWAP brings together colleges and universities to work together developing access courses to addressing the needs of mature students from backgrounds previously under-represented in higher education.
The University of Edinburgh was a founding member of SWAP.
The long standing joint University of Edinburgh and Stevenson College part time access course is one of the most successful in SWAP and provides the University with many of its annual intake of mature students into the humanities and social sciences.
