This scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate or postgraduate student from the Czech Republic, Poland, Russia and Slovakia.
The value of the award is a maximum of £4,000 per annum towards fees or maintenance costs or travelling expenses and is tenable for the duration of the programme of study, subject to satisfactory academic progress.
The scholarship is awarded broadly on the basis of academic merit and primarily to citizens from the Czech Republic, Poland, Russia and Slovakia who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a programme of study and whose personal circumstances would make accepting an offer from the University difficult.
The application deadline for this scholarship has now passed. We can accept no further applications for the 2013-2014 academic session.
A Selection Committee will meet in May 2013 to select the scholarship holder. The winner of the scholarship will be announced in June 2013.
