Remit
- To raise awareness across the University of issues relating to accessible technology and disseminate good practice
- To keep up to date with new technological developments available for disabled students
- To be aware of relevant disability legislation
- To disseminate information about equipment available through an accessible and annually updated list
- To consider the best allocation of yearly funds from Computing Services available to purchase and upgrade equipment
- To ensure that University facilities include a range of specialist equipment for use by disabled students
- To make recommendations, advise and report regularly to the Disability Committee and foster wider discussion of issues
