The role of Development and Alumni is to work with the academic community to engage alumni, friends, companies and trusts in the life of the University.
Mr Chris Cox - Vice-Principal Philanthropy and Advancement and Executive Director of Development and Alumni
Chris is the Executive Director of the University’s Development & Alumni Engagement Office with responsibility for overseeing the fundraising and alumni engagement function of the University.
Chris joined the University in February 2016 from the University of Manchester where he was Director of Development and Alumni Relations. He has worked in UK University fundraising and alumni relations for almost 25 years, at University College London, Newcastle University and The University of Manchester.
He holds a BA in History from University College London and an MA in International Political Economy from Newcastle University.
