Sports Union Membership
There are three types of memberships that students need to be aware of. Sports Union Membership, Club Membership and Sports Membership.
Sports Union Membership
If you are interested in any of the Sports Union activities are encouraged to sign up for membership.
Membership ensures that we can contact you about news and events, enables you to sign up for clubs, intra-mural, EDex and SupportED.
As well as that, signing up to the Sports Union provides access to a reduction on Centre for Sport and Exercise membership.
Best of all, Sports Union membership is FREE and available to everyone at the University.

Club Membership
Clubs manage their own programme for the year and their own costs, consequently there are varying degrees of membership prices.
Membership is different for each club. Some include the entire programme cost for a year so the fee you pay at the start covers you for the rest of term, others may require top up fees throughout the year on a semi 'pay as you play' basis.
It is important to clarify with the individual club what the membership provides and what it doesn't.
All memberships provide the following:
- Insurance
- Access to Sports Union funds
- Access to preferential rates for facility usage
