St Leonard's Land Swimming Pool
Sport & Exercise members have access to the University's 25-metre six-lane swimming pool on the third floor of the St. Leonard's Land building on Holyrood Road.

- Make a splash in the University's 25-metre six-lane swimming pool as part of your Sport & Exercise membership. The swimming pool is located on the third floor of St. Leonard's Land on Holyrood Road.
We share the pool with the Institute for Sport, Physical Education and Health Sciences ( ISPEHS) and Edinburgh University Sports Union (EUSU) clubs.
The pool is divided up into slow, medium and fast lanes during the member's swim sessions. To participate in member lane swimming you should be able to swim at least 2 lengths of the pool without stopping.
Changing facilities
- 22 individual cubicles
- Accessible toilet/changing space
- One male group changing space
- One female group changing space
- 123 lockers that require a £1 coin which you get back
- Six showers just off poolside (not private - so swimwear must be worn)
- 2 hairdryers in each group change
