Firbush provides a range of specialised and customised courses.
In addition to the standard activity weekends, reading parties and conferences that are the mainstay of the programme, Firbush provides a number of courses designed to suit specific group needs.
Management training at Firbush is primarily linked to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) course at the University's Management School, where both full time and part time students attend courses spread across the academic year.
Firbush is also open to the business world as a provider of teambuilding courses which are tailored to specification. We work closely with clients to provide the training appropriate to company needs, in a supportive atmosphere.
Our Special Populations programme is centred on an annual course for young diabetics in collaboration with Diabetes UK, and sponsored by Novo Nordisk.
Firbush will consider requests from any group with special needs.
Sea kayaking is also offered as part of our specialist outdoor programme. The course is based in Edinburgh, and located at various launching points along the Firth of Forth.
Intended primarily for University of Edinburgh students, the course runs every Wednesday afternoon during semester one, and is geared towards participation in a two week West Coast expedition at the end of semester two.
