Reading parties
Firbush is a unique venue for hosting a customised blend of academic and outdoor programmes.
Reading parties are popular with a wide range of schools throughout the University, and happen mostly mid-week throughout the academic year. Some groups are involved in field work, whilst others require only lecture facilities for presentations about their specialised subject.
Many groups take advantage of the Firbush location to participate in outdoor activities at some time during their stay. Our staff will work with you to timetable a programme of events to best suit your requirements.
We can also assist with transport logistics if required.
Availability
Midweek reading party bookings are available to groups from the University of Edinburgh and other academic institutions. Weekend reading parties may also be arranged subject to date availability.
