Staff at Peffermill playing fields are preparing for yet another major international tournament with the 2011 Air New Zealand Golden Oldies World Hockey Festival less than two weeks away.
11 pitches, recently used for the successful Touch World Cup, will be transformed into hockey pitches for the event which runs from 17-24 July.
Over 53 teams from 14 different countries will take part in the competition with games being played on Monday 18 July, Wednesday 20 July and Friday 22 July.
It should prove to be yet another exciting week of international sport down at Peffermill!

Please note that all Peffermill facilities will be in use during this event and as a result all normal activities are suspended. Peffermill will re-open on Monday 25 July for limited services with full services resuming on Wednesday 27 July.
