The All Blacks one week, South Africa the next - the heavyweights of world rugby can’t speak highly enough of the Centre for Sport and Exercise.
It’s exactly what we need, it’s all to our expectations and it’s brilliant equipment

Springboks fitness coach
Earlier in November the All Blacks rated the CSE the best facility they’d ever trained in. Now, rugby world champions South Africa have declared CSE Pleasance ‘top class’ after using the new performance gym in the lead up to the test against Scotland at Murrayfield on 20 November 2010.
Springboks fitness coach Neels Liebel said the CSE provided the Springboks with everything they needed.
He said: “We’ve been travelling all over the world and this is one of the better facilities we’ve trained in - especially that you give us a private place to train in and that private facility is top, top, top, top class.”
The comments are high praise from the world’s top two internationally-ranked rugby teams (as of November 2010) and are recognition of the superb quality of the CSE Pleasance’s recently-opened £4.8million extension.
