Science festivals
We participate in festivals ranging from small, remote events around the Highlands and Islands of Scotland to the first, biggest and best: the Edinburgh International Science Festival (EISF).
EISF in particular gives the University an paralleled platform for showcasing Science and Technology.
Our flagship strand is 'Discover Science' - a programme aimed at families and run in partnership with National Museums Scotland. There are drop-in activities, workshops and shows covering a variety of science subjects.
In 2010 Discover Science saw 13,700 visitors at three different venues.
