In the College of Science and Engineering performance and development reviews are conducted annually.
Development is an important component of the P&DR process, further information is provided to ensure that reviewer and reviewee achieve the most from the process.
Feedback is providing specific information about what has been achieved (or not) against previously agreed objectives and in the context of individual roles.
Objectives describe a future state of achievement and are clearly aligned to the objectives of the School/RI/ Department and organisation.
It is important that any issues are managed in a fair and consistent manner and that concerns over performance are dealt with promptly by the line manager as and when they arise.
