Topping Out Ceremony
A ceremony was held on 9th November 2011 to celebrate a significant milestone in the building of the new KB Library. The Topping Out ceremony marks the completion of the KB Library structure. Astronaut and alumnus Piers Sellers led the celebrations and Sir Robert McAlpine’s staff welcomed a party of visitors to the site for a hard hat visit. Visitors enjoyed presentations from the Principal, the project manager and the Dean of Learning and Teaching Professor Simon Bates.

It's fantastic to see the new KB library taking shape, inside and out. This will be a wonderful resource for our students, bringing a state of the art campus library to the heart of KB.
