The Office is organised into several support teams.
Academic Affairs
Our responsibilities are:
- matters pertaining to taught students on course - academic progression, bursaries, and so on
- the management of postgraduate research activities
- the appointment of External Examiners
- quality assurance issues
- student leaves of absence
- academic misconduct and student complaints
- the servicing of College meetings and several other College and University committees

Planning and Communications
We handle:
- research strategy
- planning
- outreach development
- public engagement with science and engineering
- all building and premises issues relating to the campus
Recruitment and Admissions
We are responsible for:
- taught programme recruitment
- applications advice and processing and admissions, including admission of visiting students
- Open Days
- servicing College Recruitment Strategy Committee
- College publications including web pages
Human Resources
Our team handles:
- the administration of College staffing matters
- the maintenance of staffing records
- academic staff promotions
- Visiting and Honorary Professors
- the servicing of clerical and technical Review Panels
- Chair appointment administration
Finance
We administer College budgeting and finance matters, and maintain financial records.
