Personalised Timetable Service
September will see the roll out of the first phase of personalised timetables for students. At this stage, the Unit will be managing the allocation of students to whole class teaching. This will allow all taught students to enjoy a personalised service for compulsory teaching. This project is strongly supported by EUSA, as well as student body representatives, who agree that students will have an enhanced experience in finding timetable data in one place. Once up and running, this service will be demonstrated to the SAS team as part of our awareness and communication strategy.
The timetabling policy has been updated to view a copy of the changes to the University's timetabling policy and guidance document, as approved by the Curriculum and Student Progression Committee 25 April 2013. Please use the link below to access the Policy page.
The mechanism for scheduling courses yet to be approved.
1. Select a current course and generate the required number of activity templates. Ensure that these templates are re-named with the new course title and proceed to schedule the activities as normal.
2. After scheduling these activities, email the Timetabling Unit with titles of the templates.
3. As the subsequent, retrospective course mapping process needs to be managed by the Timetabling Unit, it’s the responsibility of the School Timetabler to inform the Timetabling Unit when the course is approved and confirmed in EUCLID.
