The Web Room Booking service gives staff and students the chance to check availablity and request rooms for meetings and other ad-hoc events, in rooms managed by their Schools and those managed by the Timetabling Unit.
The facility is available through the Admin tab on the MyEd portal.
The Timetabling Unit is now part of Registry and contact details are: tel 650 9267 or firstname.lastname@example.org
If a room is required outside its normal opening hours then marginal charges are applied to cover the costs involved. These charges have 3 parts:
Servitor - Covers the opening and closing of buildings and in some cases the setting up of the room.
Cleaning - Covers the costs of cleaning the room after the event.
Utilities - Covers power and heating for the venue.
LTSTS manages 3 video conferencing suites for University use.
