Graduation Ceremony Attendance Form

Graduating students are automatically allocated 2 guest tickets. Additional tickets may become available and these are allocated via a random ballot. The number of additional tickets is often very limited therefore your request for tickets beyond the automatically allocated 2 may be unsuccessful. If you wish to change the number of tickets requested at a later date please email Registry@ed.ac.uk.

Please note the following:

• A maximum of 3 additional tickets can be requested.
• If multiple requests are received only the last one will be valid.
• If tickets are not available in the section of the hall allocated to your 2 automatic guest tickets, then tickets for an alternative section will be issued.
• All initial requests must be made through this facility and requests cannot be made via e-mail or telephone.
• Tickets are free and have no monetary value. Tickets may not be sold and tickets purchased via a 3rd party may be refused admittance. Only the University has the right to distribution or allocation.
• Success in the ballot means the full request will be met, i.e. if successful and you requested 3 tickets, you will receive 3 tickets.
• A request for additional tickets is made with the understanding that the number of additional tickets are limited, or may not be available, and are issued via a random ballot. Arrangements made on the assumption of success in the random ballot or on the assumption that additional tickets will be available are made at the student's/guests' own risk and the University accepts no liability for consequences of arrangements if a request is unsuccessful or additional tickets are not available.
