PsySTAR is a new initiative, funded by the Medical Research Foundation, to provide postgraduate training for psychiatrists. It is jointly run by the Universities of Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Our pool of potential supervisors comprises a wide array of leading scientists from a range of medical sciences, based across the four research centres which make up PsySTAR.
Our research centres are based in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Research at each of these universities has been rated as world leading/internationally excellent.
Applications for 2013 will be advertised in Autumn 2012, with interviews to be held in Edinburgh at the end of the year. We expect a very strong UK-wide field of applicants.
