Professor David Nutt is a British psychiatrist and Edmond J Safra Chair of Neuropsychopharmacology at Imperial College, London. He is also a former member of the Committee of Safety in Medicine and former chair of the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs.
In this lecture, sponsored by SMHRN, he discusses the risks associated with drug use, and how the relative risks influence drug classification and national drug policy.
