    PsySTAR is a programme funded by the Medical Research Foundation to provide postgraduate training for psychiatrists. The next round of interviews will be held on 2 March 2015.

Psychiatry in Edinburgh, as part of Edinburgh Neuroscience's combined submission to the 'Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuroscience' panel for the UK-wide Research Excellence framework (REF 2014), was 3rd in the UK for research power, with a 100% 4 star score for its research environment and an 81% 4 star rating on impact of research in the UK.
