Electrical Sundries - WEEE Charges

BA-MAI008 Electrical Sundries framework agreement - WEEE charges

New framework which commenced on the 25th March 2013

The University has been notified that a number of invoices issued by suppliers against BA-MAI008 Electrical Sundries framework agreement, include an additional element for WEEE and or ROSH charges.

As part of their tender responses, all bidders on the framework (Rexel Uk trading as Ross Electrical, Edmundson Electrical Ltd and Holland House Electricals), advised that no additional WEEE and or ROSH collection (disposal) charges would apply.

Our Centre of Expertise for Higher and Further Education - APUC, put this framework agreement in place and have contacted all three suppliers on the Framework to remind them that no additional charges for WEEE and or ROSH collection (disposal) charges can be introduced.

We would like to remind anyone from the University buying from this framework to ensure that in the event your invoice relates to purchases from the new framework (i.e. those made after the commencement date of this framework on 25th March 2013), that the invoiced price should match those on the published core product list (which is available on PECOS) - and there should be no additional WEEE and or ROSH costs added as a separate item on any invoice

In the event that you receive an invoice which has either and or both of these costs listed as a separate cost within the invoice then please forward details onto Elizabeth Lebost via email
