There are three divisions operating within the School.
We contribute to the work of the NHS Department of Clinical Neurosciences to provide an integrated and comprehensive neuroscience service for patients with disorders of the nervous system.
This requires close co-operation between neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists and many other disciplines. Excellent clinical services help to underpin world class research in many of these disciplines.
The Division of Clinical Neurosciences is part of the Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences.
Pathology involves the study of disease and developing an understanding of how disease processes operate. This means that we are exposed to both clinical practice and to developments happening within the fields of molecular and cellular pathology.
We are situated in the grounds of the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, Morningside, Edinburgh. The hospital covers many psychiatric specialities including general adult psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, old age psychiatry, addiction services and others.
The Division of Psychiatry is part of the Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences.
