We host three interdisciplinary research centres.

Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences

The Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences’ mission is to promote excellence in research and training of an internationally competitive standing in brain disorders.

We seek to achieve this by providing training opportunities, networking, facilities and research programmes.

Edinburgh Cancer Research Centre

The Edinburgh Cancer Research Centre takes a comprehensive approach to cancer research, transcending laboratory-based and clinical disciplines.

We strive to carry out research of the highest quality into effective cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment, as well as the symptoms associated with cancer.

Centre for Molecular Medicine

The Molecular Medicine Centre provides a first class research and training environment in clinically relevant molecular biology and genetics research. The Centre comprises four University Academic Research Sections and one NHS Service Section.
