Edinburgh Medical School students are from a wide range of countries including Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Canada, Sweden, Switzerland, Poland, Dubai and Ireland.
All students whose first language is not English will have to provide proof of English language proficiency.
Students will be working with patients early on and we want to be sure that they will be confident to be able to communicate with staff, students and patients, some of whom will have broad accents.
Deferred entry is not available to international students.
All successful international applicants are required to pay a fee deposit of a third of the year’s fees.
