We require a scanned copy of your original undergraduate or most recent degree certificate.
A degree transcript is a record of the courses you have taken and grades achieved throughout a degree programme. The transcript is normally given together with the degree certificate.
If you do not have a final transcript you should upload an interim academic transcript in order for your application to be assessed on courses and marks to date. You may be offered a conditional place on the programme, on the condition that the expected award is achieved and an uploaded version of the final degree certificate and final transcript will be uploaded.
References must be submitted on formal headed paper, and signed and dated by the referee. Information should include the following:
If you obtain your reference personally, you can upload it to support your application. The reference must be on the headed paper of the referee's institution and signed & dated by the referee.
If you don't have references to upload, you will be given the opportunity to enter your referees' email addresses on the online form; the system will then email your referees automatically. This allows your referees to upload the references electronically to support your application.
If English is not your first language you must provide evidence of good written and spoken English skills. The level of English language qualifications that are required depends on your programme.
A research proposal and CV are required for MSc by Research and PhD research degrees. Applicants are asked to contact a possible supervisor within our Research Centres in the College prior to submitting an application. Please see "How to apply for a research degree" in related link below for more information.
A research proposal is not required for the following MSc by Research programmes, as these contain a taught element:
