The School of Molecular, Genetic and Population Health Sciences comprises the MRC Institute of Genetics and Molecular Medicine, the Usher Institute of Population Health Sciences and Informatics, the Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit and the Division of Pathology.
The Institute for Molecular Medicine comprises the MRC Human Genetics Unit, the Edinburgh Cancer Research Centre and the Centre for Genomics and Experimental Medicine.
The Centre for Population Health Sciences hosts the Centre for Research on Families and Relationships, the Scottish Collaboration for Public Health Research and Policy, and the Asthma UK Centre for Applied Research.
The School also hosts Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit (ECTU) which recently was granted full registration with the UK Clinical Research Consortium and was awarded MRC clinical trials methodology hub status.
