Major decisions affecting the School are considered by this forum, in which all salaried and non-salaried staff attend, as well as student representatives.
Planning and Resources
Advises the Head of School on resource issues affecting allocation of room use.
Board of Studies
All decisions regarding undergraduate and postgraduate academic policy are made by staff involved in the design or teaching of course modules that serve current degree programmes.
Undergraduate Studies Group
Undergraduate curriculum development is considered by both staff and student representatives.
Postgraduate Studies Group
Acts to both develop and implement postgraduate research within the School, as well as looking for ways to promote this area of study.
Quality Assurance and Enhancement
Implements the annual promotion and coordination of quality assurance processes within the School.
Research Committee
Subject area representatives and all professional staff make decisions on research strategy and activity within the School.
