Patrick Bradley (graduated 2008)

"I am currently pursuing a PhD at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. I am still very proud of my accomplishments and experiences at the University of Edinburgh. It has prepared me well for this new opportunity. I remain extremely grateful, and look forward to returning one summer to visit and attend the festivals. Both the city and its people have left me with many fond memories."

Minka Paraskevova (graduated 2009)

"I am now a first year drama PhD student at Queen Margaret University, my research topic is in the field of contemporary female Scottish playwriting and adaptations into Scots. I am studying two of the adaptations of Liz Lochhead in particular. I am preparing for an exciting interview with the playwright and the artistic director of Theatre Babel, Graham McLaren.

"The MSc course gave me a broad understanding of the major trends and key playwrights in European theatre. It also increased my confidence as an art practitioner: I attended a playwriting course with the Senior playwright in Residence at the Traverse, Zinnie Harris; took part in the EIF Summer school for Arts Practitioners held for the first time; and also worked as a theatre reviewer during the Fringe Festival '09 for FringeGuru."
