Staff Student Liaison Committee

The Staff Student Liaison Committee discusses problems, policies, and the future of the Department's courses.

Early in Semester 1 each pre-honours tutorial group elects a representative to attend departmental course representatives’ meetings. A number of representatives from each pre-honours course then sit on the Staff Student Liaison committee and report back to the tutorial representatives, who are given time to discuss and report to their particular tutorial groups. Committee members are also invited to attend Department meetings and to participate in discussions on behalf of the students they represent.

Representatives also include honours and postgraduate students.

Staff members include pre-honours course organisers, a representative from the teaching assistants and third and fourth year organisers.
