Outline Biography
Xing is from Nanjing, China. She completed her BA in English at Nanjing University (2010) and MSc in Renaissance Literature at Edinburgh University (2011). Besides her research interests, Xing greatly enjoys the works of P. G. Wodehouse and the music of W. A. Mozart.
PhD details
Xing is currently doing research under the supervision of Professor Greg Walker on Shakespeare’s late plays, trying to unearth social and personal events around the year 1611 that may have stimulated the playwright to opt for the genre of romance (or tragicomedy, or comedy, or whatever it might be termed!).
