MSc by Research - Coursework and Dissertation
This highly flexible programme allows you to undertake a research degree by writing two substantial essays of 7,000 words on related topics of your own choice, before building on this with a dissertation of 15,000 words.
You will work closely with a specialist supervisor, who will help to guide your independent study. You may, however, take one or two MA or MSc courses relevant to your project, and base one or both of your 7,000 word pieces on the texts and topics covered in those courses.
You will also undertake training in Research Skills and Methods.
