The Edge of Words is a major five-year research project bringing together the Division of European Languages and Cultures, Celtic and Scottish Studies, Film Studies, and Translation Studies

Its aim is to home in on the borderline which defines everything we do: between words (in any language), and what lies beyond them. It is funded by the School of Literatures, Languages, and Cultures, and its activities are hosted by the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities.
