After arriving in Edinburgh, some international students may need to register with the police.
If you need to register, this requirement will be written in your passport.
You normally need to register within seven days of your arrival in the United Kingdom.
The University has arranged for the local police to visit the University on a number of dates in September to enable students to register with the police on campus.
Police Registration will be available on campus by appointment only on the dates given below, in the David Hume Tower Conference Room.
