Overview
There are two fully funded positions available for Early Stage Researchers as part of a EC Initial Training Network. These positions will lead to a PhD for candidates not yet registered for one.
Applications should be submitted by January 31st 2012 but later applications may be considered.
Available projects
- Control of neuronal antioxidant defences through synergistic transcriptional changes in neurons and astrocytes
- Synaptic vesicle biogenesis in activity-dependent bulk endocytosis
Eligibility criteria
- Candidates must be in the first 4 years of their research careers and have not yet been awarded a PhD.
- Candidates must not have resided in the UK for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediate prior to this date.

- A half page statement of your research interests, career aims and why you are interested in the project offered.
